To whom this may concern, I sent my twins, who are now eleven, to Head Start in Crawford County. What a great Head Start they received. Understanding the importance of parent involvement I decided to volunteer and put in around 1000 hours of volunteer time. Though that sounds good, it changed the course of my life. I decided to become a substitute teacher at the Crawford County School System. Then, in the summer of 2003, I went to school to study early childhood education. I received my Associate's Degree from Macon State College in December 2006. Now I would like to return to Head Start since this is where I got the idea that I could make a difference in other children's lives. I wanted someone to know that it not only made a difference in my children's lives, but mine also. Just want to say thanks.
